Rise to a higher level of clarity
Yes! We can work with your corporate IT to manage the enterprise software components that are critical to your business. If you are happy with the infrastructure of your enterprise applications, we highly encourage you to continue to utilize those resources.
Yes! We administer customer applications that are being hosted on platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Rackspace, Oracle Cloud, IBM Cloud, and others.
We truly do not care whether the applications are on our AWS account, or if they are located on your AWS account. The primary difference comes down to the responsibility of who manages the AWS support in the event of an AWS hardware outage. If the AWS account is direct through your organization, you would be responsible for working with Amazon to resolve all Cloud and infrastructure setup, configuration, and downtime issues. If the AWS account is through Pinnacle Solutions, we are responsible for the infrastructure. We also include other services such as backups, security hardening, proactive analysis of your server and resources, and recommendations on sizing and tuning.
No. The pricing for support is exactly the same regardless if you have us host the applications on AWS, or if you go through Amazon directly.
The pricing will depend on a variety of factors including the number of servers, number and type of applications, term of contract, and required regulatory compliance for government, healthcare, or financial services for example. Contact us to discuss pricing options.
SAS Technical Support generally focuses on bug fixes, patches, and resolution of problems related to their software. Pinnacle Solutions First Aid Kit generally focuses on keeping your SAS solutions running 24/7. In addition, many customers, especially smaller organizations or those without much SAS expertise, often do not know how to respond to specific issues or how to even define the problem with SAS Technical Support. In downtime and urgent situations, this process can be frustrating as customers struggle with providing SAS Technical Support personnel with enough detail that will enable resolution in a quick manner. Our First Aid Kit support team can dive into your environment quickly and look at the issues directly for faster resolution. And we can still facilitate the tickets with SAS Technical Support, if needed, to escalate any issues.
We are primarily a SAS software reseller. We can sell all commercially available SAS software products at discounts not available to the general public. To see a listing of all the products we offer, you can visit our SAS Products & Solutions page.
There are numerous ways SAS software can be licensed, such as annually or monthly. The server size and number of users may also impact licensing. Pricing also varies depending on your company categorization of size and industry. So in order to provide you with the most competitive pricing available, we need to ask you a few short questions to see what pricing you qualify for.
SAS now offers their software free to teachers, students, and learners! Click here to read how to get SAS software for academic, noncommercial use.
We are unable to quote renewals for existing SAS site licenses. You need to reach out to your SAS Account Executive for renewal details. If you do not know who your SAS Account Executive is, we can help track that down for you.
No. We are an Amazon Web Services host provider and we do recommend the AWS platform for most all of our customer solutions. We do however support other platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Rackspace, Oracle Cloud, IBM Cloud, and even other niche host providers. Our solutions are flexible and they are not tied into any one Cloud Platform provider.
We charge the same price as listed on the official Amazon Web Services website, which you can view here.We offer pass-through pricing as a convenience to our customers. Required support for us to manage the primary host will depend on the complexity and number of servers for the solutions, but support starts out with as little as 10 hours per month.

Knowing what a patient, or groups of patients, are at risk of being a “no-show” will enable hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers to take proactive steps to try to increase compliance, or in some cases, allow strategic overbooking to make up for the lost patient.
The Pinnacle Patient No-Show Predictor™ does not call, email, or text patients. Those services are great tools for healthcare providers to utilize in helping improve their overall no-shows. But even if a patient has confirmed an appointment in advance by using these automated systems, healthcare providers are still experiencing some no-shows from those individuals
The no-show predictor actually can work in conjunction with the various appointment reminder systems. By taking the number of calls, emails, and texts that were sent to the patients, as well as using the responses to those actions, we can use them as additional input into the models for better accuracy.
No. The solution provides a platform for completely customizing and building unlimited prediction models. The models are built upon the actual historical appointment database so your models are specific to your hospital, clinic, or practice.
There are lots of different types of data that can be added to the appointment database. This includes, but is not limited to, census demographics, weather, lifestyle, method of transportation, drive time and traffic, custom events/holidays, clinic specialties, clinic retention, physician ratings, patient surveys, comorbidities, insurance type, diagnosis codes, and more.
The provider involvement primarily requires us working with them to understand what data assets are available in their current appointment scheduling database. From there we also would discuss what data enrichment sources are available to help make their model more robust.
The solution can be installed and configured on premise at the customer site, or in the cloud. Many customers may already have some or all of the necessary licensing components for the data preparation and model development. In that case, it may make sense to keep the solution on premise.
In other situations, providers may wish to have the solution hosted in the cloud. As an AWS partner, we can provide turnkey application hosting on the AWS platform, or we can work with providers if they already have a cloud provider relationship.
If you are interested in addressing your no-show rates, you can contact us and we will schedule an initial exploratory call. The purpose of this call is to get an idea of where you are at as an organization with regards to your data assets and what specific EMR system you are using. Also, we would like to understand your specific no-show rates, as well as the financial, operational, and overall patient satisfaction impact on your organization. This will help us provide estimates for implementing the solution for you.
Yes, we have several case studies for different industries on our website that you can view on our Industries page. The cost of a development project depends on the type of developers that are required to build your solution, as well as the complexity of your solution. Total project costs vary from customer to customer and will depend on numerous factors such as scope, timelines, and number of project resources. As a first step, Pinnacle Solutions recommends procuring a needs assessment with our experienced team to help you determine the best solutions and implementation plan.
